Grand Photo — Exclusive Photography | Safety Harbor, Tampa Bay, FL

Every wedding we photograph begins the same way — with a couple trusting us not just with their images, but with their entire day. That trust is something we never take lightly. It shapes every decision we make: how we direct, how we move, how we anticipate the moments that are about to unfold before they even happen. At Harborside Chapel in Safety Harbor, Florida, we have had the privilege of photographing  couples whose love stories could not have been more different — and yet all produced galleries that left us breathless.

This is their story. And ours.

Lumetzie & John — December 14th, 2025

December in Tampa Bay offers some of the most comfortable weather of the year—soft, pleasant, and effortlessly romantic. When Lumetzie and John chose Harborside Chapel for their wedding, it felt especially meaningful, as the couple first met at the church and have been together ever since. We could already sense what the day might become. What unfolded was even more beautiful than imagined.

Setting the Stage

Our work begins long before the wedding day. In the weeks leading up to

Lumetzie and John’s celebration, we consulted on their timeline — mapping out the flow of the day to ensure every portrait session aligned with the best available light and every

transition felt seamless rather than rushed.

This is part of what sets Grand Photo apart. We are not simply photographers who arrive

and press a shutter. We are partners in your day — invested in every detail from the first

consultation to the final image delivered.

The Ceremony

Lumetzie’s entrance into Harborside Chapel is one of our favorite memories of 2025.

The chapel fell silent. John’s breath caught. And we captured it all—not because we were lucky, but because after more than a decade of photographing weddings, we know exactly where to be and exactly when to be there.

The ceremony was deeply rooted in tradition, with many prayers and a heartfelt Catholic ceremony that included the sharing of wine and bread. It was intimate, reverent, and profoundly moving. Tears flowed freely—from the couple and their families.

The chapel’s chandeliers cast a warm glow across everything, and the light through those signature floor-to-ceiling windows was nothing short of extraordinary.

Portraits — Directing With Intention

With Lumetzie and John, as with every couple we photograph, our portrait session was built

on direction, trust, and connection.

We guided them through each moment — gently, naturally, always with the goal of revealing

who they truly are rather than who they think a couple in photographs should be. We

prompted laughter. We created stillness. We watched for the quiet, unguarded moments

between directions — and we captured those too, because those are often the most

beautiful of all.

The combination of Harborside Chapel’s stunning interior and the soft light of gave us everything we needed to create a gallery as warm and

luminous as this couple.

Ava & Bryan — June 27th, 2025

When Ava and Bryan first reached out to Grand Photo, they told us something we hear often: “We’re not great in front of the camera.” By the end of their wedding day, they had forgotten they ever said it. This is what we do. Over 10 years of photographing weddings across Tampa Bay, Safety

Harbor, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota has taught us that the most stunning images are never the result of perfect posing — they are the result of couples who feel completely at ease. Creating that ease is our craft.

The Morning & Getting Ready

We arrived to find Ava surrounded by the people she loves most, the bridal suite at

Harborside Chapel glowing with soft morning light. From the very first moments of the day, our role was clear — to be present without intrusion, to document without disruption, and to begin building the trust that would carry through every photograph to come. Bryan, meanwhile, was calm in the way only a man certain of his choice can be

The Ceremony

When Ava appeared at the end of the aisle, we were already positioned — because at Grand Photo, we never miss the moment that matters most. Bryan’s reaction was immediate and unguarded. It was the kind of raw, unscripted emotion that no photographer can manufacture — only capture, if they are ready.

We were ready.

The chapel’s soaring ceilings, sparkling chandeliers, and floor-to-ceiling windows flooded the ceremony with the warm, luminous light that makes Harborside Chapel one of the finest venues we work in across the Tampa Bay area. Every detail —  the ivory and blush florals, the candlelight, the white pews — became part of a frame we were honored to capture.

A meaningful foot-washing ceremony was also part of their wedding at Harborside Chapel in Safety Harbor, Florida, adding a deeply symbolic and intimate layer to the day.

The Portrait Session — Where Grand Photo Works Its Magic

This is where our experience truly shows. After the ceremony, we guided Ava and Bryan through their portrait session with the same intentionality we bring to every couple. We directed every movement — a turn of the shoulder, a slow walk, a whispered moment — drawing out genuine connection rather than manufactured poses.

The Florida summer sun in late June delivers one of the most beautiful lights of the year —

warm, directional, and endlessly flattering. We planned for it. We used it.

The result was a gallery that felt completely, unmistakably them — joyful, tender, and alive

with the kind of love that photographs beautifully because it is completely real.
